Justify Your Attendance

Make Your Case for Attending InfoComm

Attending InfoComm® 2025 will not only enhance your professional development but also provide you with valuable insights and tangible benefits to bring back to your organization. To gain approval to attend, emphasize the ROI by highlighting what you'll bring back to enhance your team's success and your role at the organization.

InfoComm has created tips and tools to help you outline the numerous benefits of attending the event and why your time away from the office is worthwhile.

Helpful Tips

Focus on the specific value you will bring back to the organization as a return on investment. Be as detailed as possible to highlight the event's relevance to your company's objectives:

  • Booths to Visit: List the exhibitors you plan to visit. Outline the questions you aim to ask, specifically how their solutions could address existing or upcoming projects within your organization.

  • Sessions to Attend: Identify crucial sessions and workshops where you will gain new insights and skills. Explain how you'll apply what you learn to benefit your team and enhance organizational capabilities.

  • Courses to Take: If you need to earn RUs to maintain your CTS® certification or you're looking to earn your CTS® certification, list the courses available at InfoComm that will help you meet these goals. Did you know InfoComm attendees with CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I designations attend an average of 5 sessions at the show, which earns an average of 5 RUs.

  • Speakers to Hear From: Highlight the speakers you're excited to hear from and describe how their expertise and insights align with your role and your company's strategic goals.

  • Networking Events: Detail the networking events you intend to participate in. Describe the types of professionals you aim to connect with and how these connections could open new opportunities for your organization.
